Since 1984, the Cowichan District Hospital Foundation has been raising funds to purchase equipment and support patient/resident care and comfort at Cowichan District Hospital and Cairnsmore Place. Our tax dollars aren’t able to cover the cost of everything our hospital needs, so donations from the community are vital to help bridge the gap. The generosity of our donors ensures that everyone in Cowichan has better access to the latest equipment, facilities, and care. 

Together through the generous support of donors and thousands of volunteer hours, since 1984, the Foundation has raised over $22 million for improved healthcare in the Cowichan Valley.

*Cowichan District Hospital Foundation has ongoing intitiatives to support equipment purchases and improve patient care. In the event that Cowichan District Hospital Foundation receives funds in excess of its donation goal for a campaign, the additional funds will be put towards the area of greatest need.
